Oh wow! I definitely recommend it. A Pope in the 1800s wanted all Catholics to be aware of it, and most were until Vatican II. It is about the Masonic plot to create a society where the Church would be so watered down that they would open a council that would even more water down the church…and lead the way to its destruction.
Ahhh. I just read about it. Pope Pius IX and Pope Leo XIII asked Catholics to read it. It was purportedly the work of the Italian Carbonari which is considered to be connected with the Masonic Lodges. I’m not sure I could bear with it right now: depressing stuff, like Malachi Martin’s books which I believe to be more true than not. They are emotionally hard to read.
I had no idea it was so short. I read it online. There is nothing in it that I think many of us didn’t already know: communists and masons infiltrating the Church has always been a whispered problem within our Church. Even Abigale Bugnini the architect of the Novus Ordo was accused of being a Mason and was eventually silenced by moving him to a diocese in Iran where he eventually died. He denied the accusations up to his death but his Mass lives on as a testament to the destruction that he wielded. Thanks for the heads up on this document.
