  1. My deceased, wonderful parents-in-law were devoted to Padre Pio, especially my mother-in-law. Because of their devotion, I once read a biography of St. Pio but didn’t pursue him any further. After reading your post, I’m compelled to learn more about the life of this man of God and enlist his help, especially when preparing for the sacrament of Confession. Thanks.

    • Thank you for your comment. I have come to love this Saint very much over the years. My wife’s grandfather, from Italy, also had a great devotion to the Saint and we found out long after we were married that our wedding date turned out to be the Feast of Padre Pio. Somehow, I feel him present in our lives.
