  1. A fascinating and frightening article; and also very true. What made you post it, may I ask? After all, there is much more to it than merely describing some egotistical Catholics who unfortunately are in positions of power.

    • The first reason for posting it is that I agree with Ann Barnhardt that we are living in an age where this is becoming a great part of the public culture in which we live. So I guess we need to know our most basic enemy. Secondarily, a website we both were involved in, may also be an evident source of such behavior. This has more than simply crossed my mind during these past months. I cannot be sure of it but it would explain a lot.

After all, the choice for all of us is to “die to self” and to live for Christ – or to ‘live for self’ and suffer the consequences. Those of us who understand the nature of this struggle within ourselves have a better chance to win the daily battle (with the help of grace) than those who don’t.

  2. Thanks for visit my blog. No one else from AATWT ever did. Last Sunday I gave the sermon at my church as a lay person. I am hand writing the NT. Did Mathew, did Mark 2/3 done with Luke – a page or two a day. As you know I no longer participate in AATWT, figured it was a waste of my time and a waste of time for expressing my understandings to others and my cartoon blog keeps me very busy. You were always very kind and civil with me. If you will recall I was kind of exclusively NT driven but as I write the NT I have learned that I cannot exclude the unquestionable link to the OT. Regards, Carl.

    • Good to hear from you Carl . . . I wondered what had become of you and I don’t know why I didn’t check your blog to see if you were still around. Yes, the old club at AATW has about evaporated: it was getting very contentious and mean spirited. I finally had enough as did many others. Keep in touch . . . seems you have your work cut out for you with the Bible work however. Sounds like a worthwhile project.

    • I used to look at your cartoons, Carl, before I also left AATW. Your project sounds a valuable activity: any encounter with he life of Christ has to be! Francis
